The name “Sanroku” (山麓) means "foot of the mountain,"
suggesting that the hens are raised in a fresh-air,
nature-rich setting—ideal conditions for producing rich,
flavorful eggs.

These are L-size eggs, meaning they are

raw over rice (tamago kake gohan),
a popular Japanese breakfast dish.
